Auckland Museum Cenotaph database: This recently launched site has records compiled from various sources of New Zealanders who died at war. A number of the individual files have photographs.

Australian War Memorial Exhibition on Flanders 1917: In the Australian experience of war, no year has been more tragic or more costly in lives than 1917. To mark the 90th anniversary of the battles of 1917, the Australian War Memorial is presenting an exhibition, To Flanders Fields, 1917, from August 10 to November 25 this year. This official blog provides comprehensive coverage of the Australians in Flanders and the exhibition.

Canada and Passchendaele 1917: an official site on the 90th Commemorations with items, background, projects and a programme of special interest to Canadians, as well as a foreword by the Canadian Ambassador to Belgium.

Centre for First World War Studies: A comprehensive University of Birmingham (UK) site with a large links section.

City of Mesen / Messines: A multilingual site providing a description of the war memorials in the town plus opening times and details about the small museum in the Town Hall.

Commonwealth War Graves Commission: An excellent site with full search facilities and comprehensive details about all of the war cemeteries and memorials the Commission maintains.

In Flanders Fields Museum - Ypres: This interactive site provides a variety of material relating to the First World War and exhibitions at the museum, which is housed in the Cloth Hall in the centre of the town.

Last Post Association: The Ypres organisation which has organised the Last Post ceremony every evening at the Menin Gate since July 24 1927. During World War Two the ceremony took place in the UK.

Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917: The Passendaele Museum is at the Chateau in Zonnebeke and features exhibitions relating to Passchendaele including a reconstruction of the "underground war".

Messines Peace Village: New hostel-style chalet accommodation close to the New Zealand Memorial to the Missing in Messines. Built as part of the Messines-focused Irish reconciliation project and open to all.

New Zealand Army Museum Waiouru: A comprehensive site covering collections, exhibitions, facilities and educational programmes of the museum, which is also home to the Kippenberger Military Archive and Research Library.

New Zealand Embassy - Brussels: The Embassy's site provides brief overviews of everything relating to the New Zealanders in Flanders during World War One, including Anzac Day commemorations.

New Zealand History.net: The New Zealand History site contains a comprehensive selection of articles relating to World War One and Anzac Day. There is also a good links page.

Royal New Zealand RSA Remembrance Pages: The New Zealand Returned Services Association has a section of its website dedicated to a comprehensive coverage of material relating to Remembrance.

International School for Peace Studies - Messines: The project to bring together the people of different Irish communities and to create an understanding and appreciation of each others' values and differences. Linked to the Island of Ireland Peace Park, Round Tower and Irish Peace Village in Messines. Soldiers from the country's northern (mainly Protestant) division, and southern (mainly Catholic) division fought side by side in the Battle for Messines Ridge for the first and only time.

Westhoek: The Westhoek is the area of West Flanders where virtually all of the World War One battles in the region took place. This website contains large photo galleries of many events related to World War One, including Anzac Day, Armistice Day, New Zealand Weekend and the like. Click on "English", then select "You were there" from the menu to visit these galleries. There are also sections about literature and books, tourism in the region and local hotels.

Westhoek Tourism: A site covering the Westhoek of Flanders with details on accommodation, places, restuarants, events, routes, etc. (Site currently under construction.)

World War 1 in the News: A site with recent and archived news items relating to World War One.
